Welcome to Gill Games
This site hosts the Portfolio of, myself, Warren Gill. Everything presented here will be from my work with Gill Games, OnTriggerEnter(), CoderDojo, B.C.F.E, Creative Writing, PR & Marketing on and offline. It will also include UI/UX interactive media work for clients and in game jams, competitions and my spare time from before, during and after my time on the game design courses in B.C.F.E.
I achieved 1st Class Honours on the Bachelors Degree in Games Design and Interactive Media, from BCFE & Dundee University in May 2017 and with the backing of Enterprise Ireland set up a web & game development studio.
I completed the 2 year Diploma level, Game Design course in Ballyfermot College also and completed and achieved an overall Distinction, with 8, level 5 distinctions, out of the possible 9.
I completed the 1st year Ludo Course in Ballyfermot College in May 2013. It was a F.E.T.A.C Level 5 game design course and I achieved a Distinction in all 9 modules.

Before that in 2011, I did a 1 year Fetac Level 5 course in Graphic Design and I.T. Communications in St. Kevin's College, Clondalkin. There was also a Fetac level 5 Web Design Module. I achieved a Distinction in all 9 Modules. This was the 1st time I'd written anything for longer than 10 minutes with a pen in many moons. It was a great experience and fully prepared me for everything to come in Ballyfermot College.
On a side note I had an accident while doing an attic conversion in a client's house. I almost chopped off two fingers on my left hand with a circular saw and was left in a splint for several months. Being left handed this presented me with a little problem as most of the content on the course was hand written. However I finished out the course right handed, despite being left handed.

Up until 2006 I was employed as a floor fitter & project manager. Most of my work was done on construction sites all over Ireland and plenty of households also. I have 8 years project management experience and never missed a deadline. There's not much I haven't worked at. From supermarkets to coal man, offices and warehouses. I've always been a major gamer since 1984 and in my spare time I've liked to try and make games. After a couple years of fruitlessly searching for a new construction job I gave up and embarked on the road to being a game designer.
